OSOI 0.8.6 is a practical update for teams that need to keep project information, documents, locations, and field updates close to the work.
Instead of treating files, notes, maps, and chat as separate places to check, this release brings them closer together inside the daily OSOI workflow.
Highlights in 0.8.6:
- Improved Notes, with one central place for project notes, task notes, and private notes
- Note search, so teams can quickly find information that was written down earlier
- Project and work order locations, helping field teams and office teams see where work is happening
- A new “On hold” status for projects and jobs that are paused for a while
- Client signatures from the field, so technicians can capture proof of completed work and help the office move faster with invoicing
- A cleaner chat experience with better message layout, file previews, and voice messages
- Performance and stability improvements across the app
For teams in the field, the location updates are especially useful. A project or work order can now carry the place where work needs to happen, which gives everyone clearer context before they call, message, or drive to the next job.
The client signature flow also closes an important loop. When work is finished on site, technicians can capture confirmation immediately. That gives the back office better proof, less follow-up, and a faster path from completed work to invoice.
At the same time, the improved Notes experience continues the bigger OSOI direction: one connected workspace where teams can find the file, note, task, chat, or update they need without jumping between tools.
